School Lunch for One Student for a Year

Unlike here in the United States, students in some public schools in Tanzania don't get school lunches.  Asante Network has partnered with Lambo and Shiramatunda Schools in Tanzania to assist them in providing lunches for the younger students in the school.

Your gift of lunch for a student will allow that student to have a lunch of ugali (corn meal cooked in water) and beans for 4 days of the school week, and a meal of rice and beans one day a week for the entire school year (10 months). In many cases this school lunch is their ONLY MEAL OF THE DAY!

When you purchase a School Lunch for One Student for a Year, we will send you a gift card which you can send to the person in whose honor you purchased the gift.  As well, we will send you a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution to Asante Network.
